How to delete your account
You can delete your CornerTalk account at any time from within the app.
- Open the CornerTalk app
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
Your account will be deleted immediately.
What is deleted
Your email address, nickname, suburb and city are permanently removed from our systems.
What is retained
Your participation in past meetings is retained in anonymised form — your identity is removed but the meeting record remains intact for other participants. This anonymised record cannot be linked back to you.
Additionally, if your account was suspended for a terms of use violation, a minimal safety record is retained linked to your Google authentication identifier (not your personal data). This is to prevent banned users from rejoining under a new account. This record contains no personal information.
